SUPPORTING SCHOOL INITIATIVES
Each November our school puts together 66 Christmas hampers to show appreciation to our amazing Support Staff for all they do throughout the year. These hampers are filled with groceries and household essentials and go a long way towards helping to feed their families over the festive season.
Support Staff Hamper 2025
Traditionally, each child is asked to bring specific items to a collective value of approximately R100 per child, and we’ve tried to balance the cost fairly across classes. This is a voluntary project and there is no obligation to contribute – but any support is truly appreciated.
Support Staff Hamper 2025
To make things easier for parents who are short on time or prefer to contribute financially, we’ve created this online contribution option.
By purchasing this “product”, you will be:
Suggested guideline: R100 per child
You are welcome to contribute this amount or any amount that suits your budget – all donations will be combined and used to buy items for the hampers.
Deadline for contributions: Please make your contribution by Monday 24 November, so that we can pack and distribute the hampers in time.
Thank you for helping us bless our Support Staff and their families this festive season.
The purpose of the Parents & Friends (P and F) Association is to contribute to the overall efficient functioning of Reddam House Umhlanga (“the School”). It is to add value to the school by supporting the School in any way the P and F sees possible.
Importantly the P and F does not involve itself with issues of governance or the management of the School. The P and F respects the fact that the Directors, Heads of School, and staff of the School have entire responsibility and jurisdiction for the organisation of discipline, curriculum, and teaching methods in the School and the P and F will not be concerned with individual pupils or with members of staff and their teaching.
The P and F will continue to be a positive support for the School and should not be seen as a vehicle for general airing of grievances and complaints. Any grievances and complaints will continue to be handled in the present open door policy.
